Well, the brief quiet on the Radiohead front while everyone was buried in their headphones appears to be over. While the band’s craziest fans (ie. me) await the delivery of their deluxe discbox version In Rainbows, those people who didn’t bite for the digital download can pick up the physical copy on January 2 via ATO records. As for those who downloaded the album and don’t intend on paying for it again (or at all, for that matter), they can still get caught up in the hype as the band crawls out of exile and ends their self-imposed hibernation.
For the first time in quite a number of years, the band held a webcast on Friday evening titled “Thumbs Down.” The lads treated viewers with the patience to put up with their tech issues to live performances, pretentious videos, alcohol-fueled insanity and a whole slew of other oddities. How about the highlights?

Watch: “Reckoner” – live performance
Watch: “I Might Be Wrong” – live performance
Watch: “The Headmaster Ritual” (Smiths cover) – live performance
Watch: “Ceremony” (New Order cover) – live performance
Watch: “Jigsaw Falling Into Place” – helmet-cam video
Watch: “Faust Arp” – Thom/Johnny in a field
Watch: “15 Step” – Se7en mashup video (and people say Radiohead has no sense of humour):
